Speakers

Sameer Patel

Sameer Patel is Co-Chief Executive Officer of UNCO, the Dallas-based hospitality group behind a portfolio of restaurant concepts, where he has helped lead the business since 2021. Before UNCO, Sameer served as CFO and later Co-CEO of 8020 Concepts, and spent four years as Managing Partner of Alta Hospitality. He began his career in finance and technology in New York, with roles at Goldman Sachs, Eze Software Group, IBM Global Business Services and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Sameer is a member of YPO and a graduate of Northeastern University.

Christian Ryan

Christian Ryan is President of Insurance at WithCoverage, where he leads the company’s insurance and risk advisory business. He brings more than 20 years of experience advising companies on insurance and risk, with deep expertise in hospitality, real estate and gaming. Most recently, Christian served as Managing Director and North American Industry Leader at WTW, overseeing Willis’ 12 North American industry verticals. Before that, he spent eight years at Marsh, where he led the firm’s US Hospitality, Sports & Entertainment practice, served on its US Real Estate & Hospitality Executive Committee, and later led the Dallas office. Christian is based in Dallas.
